Actress Diane Cilento – who gained international acclaim in the 1950s and ‘60s, starred in The Wicker Man and alongside Paul Newman in Hombre, and who was nominated for an Oscar in 1963 – has died at the age of 79. She was also the second wife of Sean Connery.
